Gayle Laakmann McDowell is the founder / CEO of CareerCup, which provides programming interview prep for candidates interviewing with Microsoft, Google, Amazon and many other companies.  She is also the author of three books:

Gayle has worked as a software engineer for Microsoft, Apple and Google.  At Google, she interviewed over 150 candidates in three countries and served on Google's hiring committee for 3 years.  During this time, she also taught two Computer Science courses at the University of Washington.

Gayle holds a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Computer Science, and an MBA from the Wharton School. She currently resides in Palo Alto, CA.
