Gayle Laakmann is a first year MBA student at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she is focusing on entrepreneurship.
Prior to Wharton, she founded CareerCup, which provides programming interview prep for candidates interviewing with Microsoft, Google, Amazon and many other companies. She is also the author of Cracking the Coding Interview, which offers 150 coding interview questions and answers as well as a bunch of other great advice for software engineers.
Gayle has worked for Microsoft, Apple and Google. At Google, she interviewed over 120 candidates in three countries and served on Google’s hiring committee for 3 years. During this time, she also taught two Computer Science courses at the University of Washington.
Gayle holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Computer Science.
