Gayle Laakmann on Women, Technology and Everything Else

    facebookAfter completing her master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania, Gayle spent three years at Google as Software Engineer and taught two Computer Science courses at the University of Washington. Gayle left Google to be the VP of Engineering of Keenscreen, a small startup in online advertising. She is also the founder and CEO of two companies. The first company, CareerCup.com, provides technical interview prep for engineers. The second company, Seattle Anti-Freeze, organizes social and athletic activities for young professionals.

    Gayle is now a first year MBA student at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where she is focusing on entrepreneurship and venture capital.
